In a fit of sheer boredom, I created a simple Excel 3.0 Macro that converts the information recorded in your Set Clock Log and creates a bar graph showing comparing of far off your Mac clock was when Set Clock made the adjustment.
If you don’t know, Set Clock (current version:3.0) is Jim Leitch’s tres cool telecommunication application which can call one of three time centers and adjusts your internal Mac clock to the *exact* time. The Set Clock Log keeps track of all calls made and records the time difference.
Obviously you need Set Clock and Excel 3.0 for this macro file to be any good to you. Set Clock can be found on most major services and local BBS’s.
To use the Set Clock Macro...
1) Launch the file “Set Clock Macro”
2) Open “Set Clock log” (should be located in your Set Clock folder)
3) With “Set Clock log” in the forefront, go to the Macro menu and select “Run”
4) In the “Run” dialog click on “'Set Clock Macro'!SetClock” and click OK.
That’s it! You should now be viewing a very plain bar graph giving you near-useless information.
If you want to save this information, do a Save As. A direct Save will overwrite the existing log - which will mess things up for the next time.
